Kaju ke Narungi(orange ) –Gulab

Contestant-  Suman Prakash


Ingredients-1cup powdered cashewnuts
1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/8 tsp cardamom powder
4 tbsp water ,Few drops of rose essence
fewdrops of orange and green edible food colour

Method: –

Heat water in a pan .Add powdered sugar. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes till the sugar fully dissolved. Add the cashew powder and mix well.cook till mixture looks like dough.Remove from heat . Add the cardamom powder and rose essence.mix them all well. Mix few drops of green edible food colour in 1/4th of cashew mixture.Mix orange edible food colour to remaining mixture. Roll out the dough to the desired thickness on to a wax paper to avoid sticking. Cut into petals.Shape them like roses as visible in image.
Tip -for nutrition add 1/2tsp orange colored health powder to the orange mixture.
Or use orange juice instead of water while making orange cashew mixture.
