Chicken : 1/2 kg
Onions : 2 Nos.
Tomato Puree : 1 cup (100 gms)
Eastern Ginger & Garlic Paste : 2 tbsp
Pepper : 1 tsp crushed
Eastern Pepper powder : 1/4 tsp
Eastern Chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
Qasoori Methi : 2 tbsp (Dry Fenugreek Leaves)
Bay Leaves : 2 Nos.
Eastern Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil : 2 tbsp
Method of Preparation :
Cut Chicken in medium size pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaves, chopped onions and fry.
After a minute add chicken pieces, salt and turmeric, and stir for 2 min till the chicken is 50% cooked.
Add Tomato puree, Ginger garlic paste and Crushed Pepper.
Stir regularly till the chicken is almost cooked, and close the lid when you’re not stirring.
Now add chilli powder, pepper powder and Methi leaves and stir well (no need of closing the lid this time)
After a min remove from flame and serve.
