Gobi Matar


Gobi matar recipe, cauliflower with cumin for an Indian dinner.
    Cauliflower 200 g
    Peas 150 g
    Eastern Turmeric 3 tbsp
    Vegetable 3 tbsp
    Cumin seeds 3 tbsp
    Eastern Chilli powder 1 tbsp
    Coriander fresh

Boil the cauliflower florets and peas in a pan of water seasoned with salt and the turmeric. Drain well.

Heat the oil in a wide pan, add the cumin seeds and chilli powder and cook until the cumin seeds start to crackle. Stir in the cauliflower and peas and stir until the cauliflower starts to brown.

Serve immediately with sea salt and the coriander to garnish.
