Rich & Nutty Dark Chocolate Cake


1 Cup Refined flour
1 cup Castor sugar
1 cup white butter
1/3 cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cups nuts (walnuts)

For Icing
1 cup cream
3/4 cup grated sweetened dark chocolate

Mix butter and sugar well. Sieve refined flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and milk powder in to the butter mixture. Mix well, add vanilla essence. Then make the batter smooth by adding milk. Add nuts and pour the batter in greased cake tin and bake at 180′ C for 30-35 minutes approximately. For icing, heat the cream, then add grated chocolate. Mix well. Let the cake cool down. then cut the cake in 2 halves horizontly, spread icing in between the 2 halves and spread the icing on top as well as on the sides too. Decorate with choco chips.
