Ingredients for outer crust:
Besan 1 cup
Butter ½ cup
Maida 3 tsp
salt ¼ tsp
Add butter in maida and besan , mix well make a tight dough by adding few drops of water and keep it aside.
Ingredients & method of layers:
Add 2 tsp of butter in a pan then add finely grated 1 beetroot, saute till soft.
Add pinch of salt and 1 tsp maida in it.stir for 5 min and keep it aside.
add 2 tsp of butter in a pan then add finely chopped 15- 20 spinach leaves in it,saute till soft, then add pinch of salt and 1 tsp maida in it stir for 5 min and keep it aside.
Add 2 tsp of butter in a pan then add finely grated 2 carrot in it , saute till soft.
add pinch of salt and 1 tsp maida in it.stir for 5 min and keep it aside.
Final steps :
1.Place prepared besan dough in between the two layer of plastic sheet, by gently pressing make ½ inch thick sheet.
2.Then spread first layer of beetroot on it with hand.
3.Then spread second layer of spinach on it.
4.Finally spread the third layer of carrot on it.
5.Carefully make a roll of the dough with the help of plastic sheet.
6.With the help of knife cut the ½ inch thick pieces .
7.Bake all the pieces in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 8-10 mins.
Now enjoy the burst of crispy crust outside with the melting veggies inside snack.with tea , soups or any other drink.
