Kesar Phirni

Full cream milk- 1 litre
Basmati rice- 3/4 cup
Khoya or condensed milk- 3 tbs
Sugar-1 and 1/2 cup
Saffron- few strands
Cardamom powder-1 tsp
Rose petals -for garnishing
Dry fruits -as per your liking

soak rice in water for one hour and drain out excess water,coarsely grind them boil milk and add 2 cups of water add rice paste and cook on medium flame keep stirring frequently to avoid lumps.
when the mixture start thickening add grated khoya or condensed milk and cook till you get the right consistency of phirni. Add saffron , cardamom powder, sugar serve chilled in earthen bowls garnished with rose petals and dry fruits
